Women's Loan Fund | Charity Video

Frederick’s Foundation asked us to produce a charity video to help with fundraising for their latest appeal.

Big Yellow Feet has a long relationship with Fredericks Foundation – in fact they were involved in funding our startup, way back in the mists of time! They returned to us when they needed a charity video to promote their latest fundraising appeal, the Women’s Loan Fund.

The Women’s Loan Fund is a specific appeal to raise money for a ring-fenced loan fund for women. The main feature of the video was to be businesses run by women that Frederick’s have helped in the past.

Filming

In one busy day we visited Frederick’s main offices, as well as Tokunbo’s Kitchen, an African street food pop-up restaurant, and Furbabies Grooming, a mobile dog grooming parlour. An eclectic day of filming, all in all! We used our Sony Fs7 for main filming duties, and also took along our DJI Osmo for some motion stabilised ‘action’ shots.

Extras

Fredericks Foundation’s Chairman, Duncan, wasn’t available on the filming day so we invited him to Big Yellow Feet Towers on a later date to record his interview and also have a look a a rough cut of the video.

Editing

During the Post Production Process, we tried to find a way to concisely feature all the participants most relevant comments and fit them into a pacey video. We worked in collaboration with the Fredericks team to achieve this, and all involved were delighted with the final result.
