PRA Health Sciences

This state-of-the-art clinical research unit is located in Groningen, near Assen, and so required a European trip for our crew. After our necessary prep and planning we hit the road, or rather the airport, and hightailed it to Holland.

Production

We carried out a 2 day production and used a variety of techniques to create the video. We had worked closely with the client in developing the script and shotlist, so we were secure in the knowledge we knew exactly the right scenes to capture. Slow-motion was filmed on our favourite Sony Fs7 camera, and aerial shots were carried out on a DJI Inspire drone. Both were very capable tools and produced some spectacular imagery for us to use in the final edit. We were able to work directly with the staff at the facility, which enabled us to cast our ‘actors’ from available colleagues!

Upon return to the UK we edited the video, taking care to emphasize the high-tech nature of the building with graphics, music and a professional colour grade. It was supplied as an HD web video for multiple uses across PRA’s marketing.

Final Result

The video was used by the client to assist the launch of the facility, and generated engagement throughout the company globally. The video is also used by PRA sales teams to highlight PRA’s offering, as well as shorter snippets being created which the PRA marketing team used on industry blogs such as fiercebiotech.com and biopharmadive.com.
